Routine appointments
At Thamesmead Health Centre, we operate an online system for booking appointments, prescription requests and medical advice.
For routine appointments please use Klinik. Then submit an ‘online consultation’.
Alternatively please call the practice and one of our receptionists will complete this for you. You can find our contact details, here.
You will receive a response the same day confirming how we will mange your request.
Missed Appointments Policy
We understand that sometimes you may not be able to attend your booked appointment. If you cannot attend, help us by letting us know as far in advance that you cannot make your appointment. This means we can offer the appointment to another patient who needs it.
- If you do not attend an appointment, our team will be in touch with you to ask why.
- If you regularly miss your appointments, we may have to consider removing you from our practice.
Thank you for help in making sure we have enough appointments for all our patients.
Urgent Appointments
For urgent appointments the fastest way to book one would be to use Klinik, our clinicians will do everything they can to manage the request promptly. If you are unable to access Klinik, you can request an appointment via telephone, visit our Contact Us page for our contact details.
Cancelling your appointment
If you can’t make your appointment, or it’s no longer required, please cancel it as soon as possible so we can offer it to another patient. You can cancel and change your appointment via Klinik. If you are unable to access Klinik or NHS app, you can request an appointment via telephone, visit our Contact Us page for our contact details.
