On Saturday 19th September 2017, our Community Health Worker and Healthcare Assistant Ismail attended the Thamesmead Festival to promote the services that we offer at Thamesmead Health Centre. See photos from the event below.
As well as providing information leaflets, Ismail gave free mini health checks and offered lifestyle advice to those who attended the event. The Thamesmead Festival aims to highlight the work being done by local organisations and was well attended, mixed with a number of services, members of the public and local councillors. The event, which was held over the entire weekend, also included a variety of performances from musicians and dancers, a pet show and double-decker bus tours of the area. You can download the full Thamesmead Festival programme here.
We would like to extend special thanks to the Thamesmead Festival Team for arranging the event and also inviting us to attend.
