Thamesmead Health Centre has become an Urgent Care Centre and a GP Practice as of 1st April 2015. It was previously a Primary Care Walk-in Centre. Patients with minor illnesses and less serious injuries that are not life threatening but still require urgent attention can be seen by walking in to the centre and they will be seen by a primary care clinician.
The Thamesmead Satellite Urgent Care Centre (UCC) will operate from 8.00am to 8.00pm seven days a week as an alternative to attending A&E, which is really good news for the local community. You can find out more about our Urgent Care Centre on our dedicated website.
If you are looking for a GP to register with, you can do so here.
You should only go to A&E for a serious or life threatening emergency. For any non-urgent medical needs, in the first instance please call 111 or call us for an appointment.
