Increase cases of measles
Measles can spread to other people easily.
Patients who have an appointment to come into the practice should not attend if they have:
- a fever and a rash; with
- cold symptoms;
- or a cough;
- or red, sore eyes (conjunctivitis)

Thamesmead Health Centre held a Carers Day event on Saturday 25th May. In attendance were representatives from Greenwich Carers Centre & Thamesmead Community Coordinator to offer support services to our registered carers.
The practice manager Nana Adjei, the assistant practice manager Tamara Tarasidou, administrator Juliet Barlon Armah and clinical lead Dr Yinka Oyebade were in attendance to support with setting up the event, engaging with our registered carers and arranging appointments for health reviews. Patients were really grateful for the event which gave them awareness to local support services they wouldn’t have otherwise known about.
